  • I do not directly charge insurance at this time but I can give you a monthly super bill that you directly submit to your insurance for an out of network reimbursement. A good faith estimate is given upon scheduling or request.

  • If you are interested in counseling fill out the interest form or email and I will get back to you within 48 hours.

You will have the option to have a free 20 minutes call with Chris to share your needs, ask any questions, and establish fit.

If there seems to be a good fit we will schedule our first session together.

You are also free to end the counseling relationship at any time, though I encourage you attend a few sessions before making a decision.

  • I conduct in person sessions in Bellevue and in West Seattle.

In Seattle my office is at 5426 California Ave SW, 98136

My Bellevue office is at 2105 112th Ave NE, Suite 201, Bellevue, WA 98004

If we meet online I will send you a link with a reminder of your appointment.

  • If you are newly working with me I encourage weekly sessions for the first month or two to get started and to build the counseling relationship.

I understand that with peoples busy schedules this may not be possible, so we can definitely be flexible if needed.

After that initial period some clients seek to meet weekly, some a couple times a week, some bi-weekly, monthly, and some occasionally. I am happy to work with your needs and your schedule to help you get the support you need.

  • We will focus on mental health counseling but you are welcome to bring your faith into our work if you would like (or not as well).

Our beliefs and journeys of faith can be a great help in our healing and also a great source of pain and trauma, so I will take your lead on whether this is a part of your journey that you would like to draw upon in our times together.

My own Christian faith informs my understanding in counseling that all people are created in the image of God, which draws me to be curious and hopeful about those I meet, and to extend dignity, compassion and grace.

My experience as a pastor gives me a sensitivity and understanding in working with Christian clients and Christian leaders, while also having great empathy to those who have experienced religious trauma.

Mental health counseling can allow you the safe space to be curious, to find wisdom and clarity, to practice confidence, courage, and hope, to connect with yourself and others. And to befriend your inner emotional experience.
