Services

Individual counseling provides a safe place to be supported, to be curious about yourself, to heal, to learn new ways of approaching your emotional experiences and challenges, and to grow in skills that bring coping, resilience, and thriving in relationships.

I work with adults and teens experiencing a variety of mental health needs and concerns, including: trauma, depression, anxiety, fear, phobias, accessing and working with emotions, stress, career and life changes, addictive behaviors, grief, family challenges, burnout, spiritual abuse and trauma, low self esteem, self confidence issues, parenting support, relationship issues, and men’s issues.

I also work with pastors and other leaders who are stuck, in need of supp0rt, experiencing burnout, and leadership stresses.

Individual Counseling

Couples counseling provides a unique opportunity to cultivate intimacy, depth, and healing in your relationship. I work with married couples, committed partners, and also those seeking pre-marital counseling.

I work with couples to heal wounds, learn new patterns of living together, increase emotional closeness, and grow in intimacy. Issues that I have worked with couples on include: communication, conflict resolution, abuse, betrayal, patterns of contempt, criticism, defensiveness, and stonewalling, parenting and intimacy stresses, working through grief together, communicating emotional experiences, growing together through life changes and seasons, and sexual intimacy,

PRE-MARITAL COUNSELING

Premarital counseling is focused on helping couples build a strong foundation of their marriage. Couples discuss many important issues surrounding marriage, they work through potential conflict areas, and they learn skills to relate to each other and grow in intimacy. This counseling helps couples build a blue print for their lives together.

Couples Counseling

Groups are safe and confidential gatherings, online and in person, where the focus is to learn together and support each other. I lead groups periodically on unwanted sexual behavior, grief, and other issues at the intersection of emotional health and spiritual health.

Groups

I am passionate about supporting the work of the local church and other organizations that seek to do good. I do this by providing trainings for deacons, and other leaders of how to care for others (and care for yourselves), and consulting on any mental health needs. I also can provide seminars and groups for churches on marital relationships, working with anxiety, and stress, boundaries, spiritual disciples, and other issues at the intersection of emotional and spiritual health.

Seminars and Partnerships

“People need people-for initial and continued survival, for socialization, for the pursuit of satisfaction. No one-not the dying, not the outcast, not the mighty-transcends the need for human contact.”
